Some of you may have seen my "He Who Cares Wins" screenprints, i'm currently working on some new designs for the more cynically minded.

For those of you who are familiar with the brilliant Palmerston here's a face which you may recognise.

Spotted these flats in Madrid, they really reminded me of the ones I photographed in Brussels. It's amazing what a wee splash of colour can do.

Sorry there haven't been any posts in a while, i've just got back from Northern Ireland, which funnily enough is where I spotted this sign in a shop window. It made me laugh.

Felt Squares

These are a mixture of hand and machine sewn felt squares, i've had some of them framed but am thinking of making more and turning them into cushions or little blankets.

Button your lip

I spent yesterday convincing my boyfriend to get rid of a few of his t shirts. The one's that he really didn't want to let go of i turned into cushion covers. Making them led me onto this idea.

Every stitch a tear

This is the main piece from my degree show, it's a tapestry 3m wide by 2m high which took three and a half months to complete. The idea behind it was to give me something constant to work on while mending my broken heart. It's the lyrics from Uncertain Smile by "The The". When the coloured letters are taken and placed together they form a question.

Went to Brussels for the weekend and spotted these flats - thought they were pretty cool, not as cool as the tasty beer though.
