I started this cross stitch portrait almost a year ago and i'm starting to wonder if i'll ever find the patience to finish it.
Last year Sharon Elphick had a summer show - the theme was Summer Holiday so my idea was to cross stitch two portraits - one of Donna Summer and one of Billie Holiday. I always seem to set myself impossible tasks. There's around a million little stitches in this one alone!
Anyway, getting back to Sharon Elphick, you should definitely check out her shop and blog as she always seems to have lovely artwork and ceramics.

Just looking at that photo makes me feel exhausted! I'm impressed you got so far. I'm so bad at leaving projects half-finished that I've had to put them all in a box of guilt and hide them under the bed...
